About Jazz Folks

Hire Jazz Folks for your next party, reception or corporate event!

Jazz Folks play acoustic mandolin, guitars, bass and percussion. We live and play in the New Haven region of Connecticut. The group was founded by mandolin player Glenn Stevens.

Out Of Nowhere

We range from a quiet trio with voices, mandolin, guitar and bass to larger and livelier quartet or quintet with percussion and another guitar or vocalist.

We enjoy playing a wide range of styles that include swing, jazz standards, Latin jazz, North and South American folk, choro, samba, a smattering of originals and just about anything else that grabs our fancy.
